The Genmaicha from Japan is a very tasty mixture of good Sencha, roasted and puffed whole grain rice with a pronounced nutty note.
The rice is first steamed until it swells, then dried and finally roasted. After cooling, it is added to the fine Sencha.
In Japan, this sweetly rice-scented tea is a favorite with meals. Due to the low tea content and the fine mildness, this tea is suitable for all-day enjoyment.
