Peppermint can be found all around the globe. In North African countries it's a very popular drink for every time of the day.
Peppermint gets its name from the spicy, peppery taste of the leaves. The underside of these is covered in scales containing vast amounts of the essetial oil Menthol, giving of a fresh, minty scent at the slightest rub.
